Frequently Asked Questions
What is an Elopement?
Elopement is a wedding ceremony with 20 guests or less. Elopements are usually intimate, high-quality, generally outdoor ceremonies personalized to the couple.
What is the difference between a wedding & elopement?
A wedding is a formal ceremony that brings two people together in marriage, usually with many guests and a reception to follow. On the other hand, elopement is a more intimate and private ceremony that involves only the couple and perhaps a few close family members or friends. Elopements are typically spontaneous and less planned than traditional weddings. Weddings are often associated with high spending and elaborate preparations, while elopements are usually much more affordable and straightforward.
How does it work?
We want to make your elopement as stress-free as possible! First, we’ll work with you to determine the destination, venue, date, time, guest count, and package that fits your needs. Once we have those details, we’ll take care of everything else! Our team will connect you with top-notch vendors and an elopement planner who will guide you through every step from start to finish.
How far in advance do I need to book/plan elopements?
To ensure a smooth and stress-free elopement, it’s recommended to start planning and booking at least 3-9 months before your desired ceremony date. However, we understand that each situation is unique, and we are always willing to work with you and your specific needs to make your special day a reality. Our flexibility is one of our biggest strengths as a company!
When is the best season to elope in Bali?
Bali experiences only two seasons – the wet season and the dry season. The wet season, which lasts from November to March, is characterized by heavy rain, high temperatures, and humidity. The dry season lasts from April to October and offers excellent weather with sunny days. So, when is the best time to elope in Bali? Based on our experience, the ideal months are April, May, September, and October. During these months, the weather is pleasant, and it is not a high season for tourists, so it will be more affordable for flights and accommodation. However, due to climate change, we may still see occasional scattered showers during the dry season.
Why should I elope in Bali?
There are many reasons why you should consider eloping in Bali, and we’ve listed some of our favorites below:
- Stress-free: Weddings can be incredibly stressful, but not in Bali. Bali is known for its relaxed atmosphere, and planning a wedding here is no different. You only need to make a few decisions and obtain your marriage license. Who knew that planning a wedding could be so relaxing?
- Cost-effective: With so much uncertainty in the world, eloping is the perfect solution. Inflation? Recession? By eloping, you can save money and create memories that will last a lifetime.
- Personalized: Your ceremony should be all about you and your love. We believe that weddings have become more about pleasing others than celebrating the love between two people. At Bali elopements, we ensure that everything is personalized, from the vendors to the vows. We’ll even shed a tear or two with you. We’re here to celebrate what makes your wedding ceremony unique – your love and commitment to each other.
